We hand-select the best natural fibers used in the products in our store. The best angora fiber, mohair, and fine wools are hand selected from our own animals and also from quality local small flock farms here in the beautiful Ohio River Valley of Lower Appalachia. We take great pride in our animals, each has a name, and has been carefully bred to produce quality fiber. Each is regarded as an integral part of our farm family. NOTE: Our fiber animals are never harmed when their wool is harvested. In fact, it is vital to good health and grooming that their hair is trimmed or shorn regularly.
